The year is UC 0088, and the Earth Sphere has been at peace for some time now, but not all is as it seems. Since the end of the One Year War, sporadic uprisings by Zeon loyalists have created moments of instability and caused endless misery throughout the colonies. The culmination of these uprisings was Operation Stardust, which occurred in UC 0083, and led to a colony being dropped on North America, the breadbasket of the Earth Sphere. In the following weeks and months, Jamitov Hymen takes advantage of the chaos and confusion to establish a new organization within the Earth Sphere. This is the [b]Titans.[/b] Supposedly an elite force with full authority to stamp out any fledgling pro-Zeon movements before they can cause damage. In reality, the group is nothing more then a brutal organization that acts arbitrarily and treats all dissent as if it were an act of war.

The impetus for the growth of a true opposition movement was The Colony 30 Incident, in UC 0085. A peaceful demonstration turned violent, and the Earth Federation forces present either refused to, or could not control the growing unrest. The Titans stepped in then, and in typical Titan fashion shut off the colonies air supply, and filtered in G3 Nerve Agent. In a few mere minutes, the entire colony of ten million inhabitants was wiped out. True, media blackouts had been in place to keep word from getting out, but such a brutal act of genocide was not one to be kept hidden. Word got out, and when it did, the Anti-Earth Union Group formed under the guise of a former Earth Federation officer, Blex Forer.

Spread out as they are, and against a far better trained and equipped foe in the Titans, it is a wonder the AEUG manages as well as it has. One of these ragtag groups in the far reaches of the Earth Sphere is where this story takes place. Side 6, a group of colonies in the L4 sector, is the focal point, where a small AEUG unit struggles to uproot the Titans from the area. With only a dated Antietam-class auxiliary carrier, the [i]Hawthorn[/i], and a handful of makeshift mobile suits to go with, one has to wonder how they'll manage...

So, this is a thing. It's going to be a sort of free-form pbp system, with essentially arbitrarily decided GM rolls. It'll be great. Totally.
