Hey, this is an excellent way of putting it!

I am one of the GMs of this roleplay. I am not the main GM, I am not the most knowledgeable GM. But I am still a GM.

And the GM takes care of the roleplay and anything to do with it.

So in a way, I am your parent for as long as you are here, because you all are my charges.

And I feel the responsibility.

Of course, I've also felt this way in many a Minecraft server, when I was admin or ever head of staff. Even the Owners were PO'd at me, because of how seriously I took my duties. 

You all made me a GM. No one spoke out against the decision. Deal with it.
