If she must, it will be spiteful, damaging, or extremely sarcastic. She enjoys dark humor, other people's drama, and crude people. Those kind of things amuse her the most. Constantly observing her surroundings, she will size you up before you even approach her. With a resting bitch face, Ash's aura gives off an unapproachable vibe and her stare can make people quiver. She's not afraid of many things but even if she was, she would never admit it. There is no way in hell she'd do something out of peer pressure [u]for anything[/u]. If she chooses to get shitfaced, that's because she wants to, not because someone told her to. Even before she was 21, she drank an abundance of alcohol and still does. It just makes life ten times better. She still holds her usual personality traits when she is drunk but can be more willing to talk to people around her. More often than not, her drunk self loves to make fun of the stupidity around her, with little to no filter. Drunk Ash is also more likely to smile and possibly laugh, but no one has witnessed it. If people can't make a decision, Ash takes it upon herself to do it herself. Why rely on others if you're fully capable of accomplishing the task at hand? If she doesn't need anyone, the better. She sees people as pawns on this big chess board we call life. Not everyone will make it out alive and everyone can be used to one's advantage, or disadvantage. If Ash can see someone as worth using for advancing herself, then hell, sure she'll get 'close' to them! The way she is has been a mechanism that was built over the years. Something that protects her from getting too close to people. If someone can make her intrigued, that is a feat in it's own since she's not interested in many people, if any at all. Her family is the prime reason why she doesn't like people and no one should expect her to, not right away at least. Her home consist of 'good' Christians. Yeah, right. Not terribly poor, but not extravagantly rich either. Her parents wanted, and still want, to live their dreams through her, having shoved books in her face the moment she was able to read. Spelling bees, advanced classes, extracurricular study seminars, competitions... it got to a point, where Ash just said fuck them and did her own thing. Along with them hammering their narrow minded views on her, her father was an alcoholic and her mother was a slut. Ah, like father like daughter. Aisling attended private school, but only because she got a full ride thanks to scholarships! What her parents didn't know was ever since Ash was a child, she outsmarted them and did many things behind their back to advance herself as an artist. You can say sleep was never a thing for her. She even had a couple of teachers that helped her get noticed by some big dogs of the art world. Not once did her parents confront her about her talents or passions. To be honest, they probably just prefer living in ignorant bliss. High school was a blur from drinking way too much for her own good to skipping seminars just to paint. Yeah, that was the life. Now she is in college, refusing any financial assistance from her parents. For money, she's worked at a bookstore and has done commission work for people. Her parents still helicopter over her to some degree and call her constantly even if she never picks up. Ash would like to believe they know, by now, she's not their bitch but that would mean they've given up - and no Skinner likes giving up. They're stubborn as hell. Unfortunately, this whole reality TV gig has made her parents act like they actually care about her passions and dreams. There's no doubt they're telling her entire hometown that she's going to be on TV.
