The picture is an inked cover for a comic book called the Herald, which features HP Lovecraft and Nikolai Tesla as a dynamic monster hunting duo. Funny thing is, I haven't read the comic yet, but it was inspired by this piece of [url=http://i.kinja-img.com/gawker-media/image/upload/s--VJ9VpO95--/17n7yg9p8eemnjpg.jpg]artwork[/url], which also inspired me to come up with this RP.
