Another day, another realm made contact with.  The SRI Investigative team first sent through the portal seemed to find another hospital planet but its inhabitants seemed to be the type to fight back before they would ever make a deal with them.  The expeditionary forces were there to test the defenses of this new world and one of the targets was an unfortunate aircraft going nearby.  The SOLDIER units sent out a missile attack that seemed to hit its mark but something was off, an expertly timed launch coming from the aircraft was sent off towards them.  It wasn't perfect but it was close as the Units had to scramble for cover.

Off to the side keeping track of things was Enki, a man who was part of the Knights Division, he was there to supervise and be ready if anything the other units couldn't handle was to arise.  A smile went over his face as he watched the counter attack, sure it might have been luck but he didn't want to take any second chances.  He waved off the other troops letting them know he was exercising his authority in taking over the mission.  The SOLDIERs seemed to not be to happy at all, but he figured they would get over it.

Dressed in his standard green combat uniform he came with all his default equipment as was the standard with any mission.  Flexing his left arm some making sure it was ready to go, his internal UI flashes across his vision.  Inside the Gilgamesh system the Aegis materia is selected and its summoned projection forms in front of Enkis left arm.  Functioning just like the mythical shield would, its size would be enough to cover enki from his knees to his neck and when directed in front of him wide enough to cover his body.  Enki then reaches up to grab his preferred weapon, the Aire Tam Storm, which currently has no materia activated inside of it.  

Enki begins to rush through the area running up towards the location of this would be Hero from this world with the Aegis on his left arm ready to protect him and the Aire Tam Storm in his right hand.  He doesn't know exactly what he will find once he gets there, but his eyes keep looking around as he feels for any presence around him.  Now closer to the battlefield his Aire Tam Storm begins to access the HowlingSteel Materia held inside of the blades technological inner workings, preparing it for use with his strikes.
