[@Sionnie], if I could make a recommendation, it might be worth it if you had a glance through [url=http://dnd.wizards.com/products/tabletop/players-basic-rules]this[/url], under the section marked "Combat". I think I understand what you're trying to get at with your character, but the mechanics of D&D definitely handle a little differently than what you might be used to in an MMO. Fortunately, Wizards of the Coast have put up that page explaining it step-by-step in a very clear and concise manner :)
