I may as well own up: this is my first time actually playing a game. I was introduced to the concept by reading the like of  [url=http://www.shamusyoung.com/twentysidedtale/?p=612]DM of the Rings[/url] or [url=http://www.darthsanddroids.net/episodes/0001.html]Darths & Droids[/url], and I've also read through the Player's Handbook for the 5th edition, but yeah, still first time. So I still have plenty of questions about how everything works together during actual play.
