What does "Ex is being Ex" mean?

C'mon, miso soup. I wouldn't do something I didn't like. I was in Blue Bloods, so there's obviously precedent. You worry too much. 

As for the others... I won't say we don't pressure them :P. But they're our friends! 

Though I don't think anybody should join who doesn't want to, that isn't the impression I've gotten.
