Alright, it was time for action! Just as Sam gave the command Vulcan bounded into action. Fire erupted even more so from his ears but this time a stream of fire appeared from his mouth. His ember was strong Sam noticed and in no time at all he would learn another move, a more powerful fire type move. Or at least Sam was determined. Maybe she was wrong in gaging the power of her Pokémon's attacks. She would have to ask Rex about it later, but for now she had a battle to focus on. 

Vulcan did however miss his first hit and Sam cursed under her breath. "Again, Vulcan!" she commanded and Vulcan was once more spouting bits of fire at the Pikachu.

Meanwhile Shauna and Chespin were battling the Corphish that appeared out of the water. This is, after Shauna was done oogling it and saying how cute and awesome it looked.
