A Time for Celebration
lovely complex, BeastofDestiny, Viciousmarrow Lethal [@lovely complex], Gibraltar[@BeastofDestiny], Bunny Day 3, Evening

Intently, the mechanic listened to her one true companion as he answered her sudden and odd question. Ah, yes, the feeling of regret. When was the last time she felt that feeling? Did she ever experience such a thing? Everything she did was for her own self growth, to understand, dissect, and create. None of her actions were done without intent. Regret. Something that prevents mankind from moving further in their pursuit. Something that holds them back because they are not looking straight ahead. There was no recollection of such an emotion in her memory bank. When she did something, Lethal did it out of own will not because someone forced her to. Even with something like this wedding, although she despised such jovial occasions, she owed Christian Highfell more than she would like to admit. Those who desired to go back to a cherished time were weak in the ominous woman’s eye. To her gratification, Gibraltar’s response was something she expected and approved of. Behind the machine, there was a mortal soul. Yet, there was a reason why they became partners. Likeminds do think alike. “I wouldn’t know how ‘regret’ felt even if I deliberately tried to feel such yearning. You are walking proof of my capabilities. I do not regret making you my personal project.” She paused and took her cigarette out of her thin lips, dropping the ashes to the ground, “I do wonder how much humanity you still have left in you. I may be a being of intelligence but that doesn’t mean I fully comprehend the...” Lethal’s voice trailed off when the green hurricane had approached them. Dropping the cigarette on the ground, the mechanic rubbed the bottom of her boot on it and watched the drunkard fall forward. The intolerable woman proceeded to wipe her tears on the bottom half of Lethal’s dress (jacket). With a sigh, the Cambion observed the cyborg help the Paladin up, having to pull the sad creature off her leg. At this point, the cold woman droned out the blabbar and began slowly unbuttoning her dress. For those looking, some could assume she was stripping in the secluded area of the reception. “It can’t be helped.” Her dress came off to reveal her casual attire she was more fond off. With Gibraltar’s help, she put the coat on the drunk woman to cover up her wet dress. As she buttoned up the jacket on the woman, like a mother taking care of a child, Lethal growled, “Again with that damn hellspawn. Perhaps the best course of actions is to find a room where you can sober up.” Her red eye looked up at her cyborg and mentally projected that she would prefer if he took care of the Paladin. ”Prostitution would not bode either you or your friend well, young paladin.” A quick biometric scan indictated that her blood alcohol level was at .12%; the young woman was decidedly drunk. His gaze met Lethal’s and he understood that she wanted him to take charge of her, to make sure she could sober up and not get herself into any trouble. ”Come paladin, let us walk and speak a while.” He nudged her off towards the opposite direction of the hellspawn. Whatever her distress was, it was clearly involved with the young hellspawn and the woman he was speaking with. Getting her away would hopefully help to calm her down. Bunny was getting quite impatient with these two since neither of them would tell her the name of that damn Elf! ”No! I not gonna go nowhereee! I gonna stay righ’ here.” the Paladin protested, feebly pushing again Gibraltar’s massive form. Try as she might though, there was no way she was going to be knocking him down. With a whine, she fell to her knees in defeat. ”I jus’ wanna know da Elf ladiesh naaaaaame! Wait, why did she need that chick’s name? Bunny looked perplexed at her own question. She didn’t need that! She just needed to hit the girl a lot! ”Nevah minddd! I go kill her now. I will teach her that she ish nod gonna shteal my man.” she called out, foiling her own plans immediately. It’s not as if she was going to get anywhere very fast either, on account of the fact that she was still struggling to get back to her feet. The green haired woman was moving at a crawl, on all fours as she made her way back towards Izual and the Elf. The cyborg sighed in frustration as he turned around and knelt down beside the crawling paladin and hoisted her up in one arm. ”Come Paladin, you and I must speak of those two.” With that he started walking away, a very drunk Bunny under his arm. Once he felt he was at an appropriate distance he sat her down in a chair and stood above her, a towering presence in comparison to her tiny form. ”It may not be my place to ask this, but why do you wish to harm the young unknown woman?” The inebriated woman moped in her chair, her grey eyes down cast and away from the cyborg as one of her long legs kicked at his shin. She mumbled something that didn’t make any sense at all before flicking her gaze to his face. ”Becaush she ish more pretty than me. Izual wantsh her, but not me. Nope nope nope! Nobody wantsh Bunny…” she muttered, a gloomy expression filling her face. The Paladin was filled with a hopeless sense of despair combined with jealousy’s rage. Fortunately, Gibraltar was the wall that separated her from a potential blood bath. Whether or not it would be her or the Elf’s blood… well, that was up for wager. Ah...young love, something he was all too familiar with in his own youth. Though he could not feel, he was compelled to help ease this girl’s troubled mind, even if he wasn’t good at this kind of advice. “Paladin...Bunny, why waste your affections towards someone who doesn’t reciprocate those affections back? You should find someone who is willing to share those affections with you. Just know, somebody always wants somebody, no one ever wants to feel alone or unloved, and there is someone out there, who does want a ‘Bunny’” Bunny listened, as well as her drunk state would let her, but there was still that shadow of doubt in the back of her head. She never had a family, never had friends… For most of her life she was just a tool, an experiment, but even they didn’t want her. After all she was a failed experiment. Her face twisted and the tears came flowing out once again. ”I don’t think datsh true at all…” she whispered. ”...How can you wand a failure? Somebody wid no name, nothing at all… I don’ even hash a race to identify wid...” ”Why should any of this matter?” Gibraltar knelt down in front of the young woman, ”You are Bunny,” he stared into her face, ”You need no names, and no titles, to matter to the person who cares about you the most.” visions of Rosanna invade Gibraltar’s mind as he remembers days long past with the young orc woman. ”And you are not a failure, the fact that you are alive and sitting before me today is proof of that. Never doubt yourself, even if you sometimes doubt what you are.” For probably the first time tonight, a small smile flashed onto the sad woman’s face, a chuckle emanating from her mouth. ”You’re a cheeshball, Gib. But thanksh.. I feelsh a liddle bedder now…” she told him before giving him a big hug. Despite being mostly robotic, he somehow knew how to make her a little happier. Maybe it was something to do with his circuitry? Bunny didn’t have a clue. She was simply glad to have someone who spoke kindly with her right now. A cheeseball? He wasn’t sure what to make of that, but he acknowledged her appreciation of his words when she wrapped her arms around him in an embrace. ”Never forget, I shall always assist you if you require it,” he was somewhat worried about leaving her in her inebriated state, she honestly needed an escort for the evening, ”If you will allow it, I’d like to remain by your side this evening, to ensure your safety.” Letting him go and hopping out of her chair, Bunny gave the cyborg a sloppy salute. ”Of couresh! I will warn you thoughh! It will cosht you!” she told him, giggling like a silly little girl. ”If you gonna be wid me, den you gotsh ta dance wid me! The woman attempted to drag him out of the room, apparently forgetting the last time she tried to move him, but at least she was wearing a smile this time instead of an intent to kill. ”Oh waid... I gotta find my Ashpirant firsht… I hope there’sh no pedos trying to abduct her…” A sincere look of worry crossed her face. If Rini got hurt, then Lethal would probably flay her alive! Suddenly, the whimsical Bunny took off, headed back towards the crowd to find that tiny albino. Gibraltar took off after the Paladin, his strides long and methodical as he went after his charge of the evening. The price a dance though? He supposed he could live with that.
