Also for the names. It works the same way as the crows of Reathos. They can see the Soul's True Name. Which cannot be changed through conventional magic. Should a shapeshifter turn into a wolf for example, then even in his wolf form the True Name would remain above him. Maybe through divine intervention the name could change? I'll leave that open for debate for now. But that's pretty much the only use it has. Recognition. In Egyptian culture the True Name meant that whoever knew your True Name could completely control you (Isis did this to Ra IIRC). But that would be VERY overpowered. So that is NOT how this will go.
