"Uhm."  Jim swallowed.  "That's a good question."  He thought for a moment before nodding at the idea that came to light in the dark recess of his mind.  "So let's clear as wide of a path as we can."  He carefully moved forward and looked down.  "We'll blast a big enough swath of destruction as we can.  Then, we'll climb down this thing over here and make our way to the tear."  He frowned.  "From there we better think up something because those things'll probably regroup in a hurry."

He looked over at Rae hopefully.  "Unless you have a better idea?  Please tell me you have a better idea."
