Alyssa tensed as she heard the sound of Vivian moving,  then relaxed as she realized who it was.  Vivian explained her experience with the gods,  and Alyssa had to agree with the sentiment that people could be crueler.

[color=ed1c24]"Gods and Kings do what they want.  The rest of us do what we must."[/color]  Her grin returned in force.  [color=ed1c24]"That doesn't mean we can't have fun along the way though.  Or find treasures in the least likely of places."[/color]  She added the last bit with a wink.

She stretched out on the ground,  and marveled that the stars didn't seem as cruel when a person had company.
