I. Am. Pooped. Lots of stuff happened today, but the good news is I did, in fact, find time to work on the map. Now I've just got to separate it into layers and such, etc. However, I feel safe showing you guys the region of the Hidden Valley you'll be starting in before I finish the map in its entirety. So, this is what the map style will ROUGHLY look like before I add on the political layer. Note the mountain art in the top-right. I plan on using that for any sort of important locations you discover as well as to fluff up the scenery for plains, hills, mountains, etc. It's not super art, but it's what I got. Light green = plains. Slightly darker green = hills. Very dark green = forest. Blue = river. Tan = mountains. This is about 1/10 the size of the map I want to have prepared for you guys overall, and in fact is about 1/4 of the map I've already drawn. When I DO finish the map, I'll use layers to "gray out" the areas you haven't explored yet, perhaps leaving certain very visible landmarks still somewhat visible to you on the map. Clans will have political lines and colors on the map. In your case, the chief colors of the clan are green and red, so I'll use red for your border and green for your owned region.
