[@Prince of Seraphs]
Name: Alexandra "Alex" (No last name) Race: Gerudo Age: 21 Gender: Female
Alex is a pretty, young girl with eyes the color of a desert storm and just as wild, hair the color of a rich bonfire that she dies or bleaches one color or another as the times demand to keep from being associated with the Gerudo Pirates. She keeps it back in a ponytail for functionality but lets it down when in a formal setting. Alex is relatively skinny and small but she’s strong especially for someone of her size. She 5’6” and her skin has a mild tan. Alex has a scar across her neck where someone once tried to slit her throat, she keeps it covered with a conservative shirt. On her left shoulder she has the Gerudo tattoo of good fortune that was given to her at the end of her training. It is a gold crescent facing downwards with a half circle peaking over it, a sunrise. Alex is spry an very quick on her feet being the first to run at a hint of trouble.

Alex doesn't wear armor counting on her speed and agility to keep her safe. During the day she wears a green cloak that blends in quiet nicely with the trees. She wears soft sandals and a milkmaids dress and bodice that she stole from a local ranch. The cloths are not very fancy but the neckline is high enough to conceal the scar on her neck. Underneath the dress she has a farm boy’s britches on in case she needs to rip the skirt making it easier to run. In her sling over bag she carries a set of the traditional Gerudo Pirate’s clothes that she wore during training. She wears them during heists since they are light weight and don’t obstruct her movements.

Alex carries three daggers, and a light weight scimitar. The scimitar was forged by the Frozen Hearth Smithing Company at Alex’s behest after she completed her training in the Pirate’s Fortress. She carries two of the daggers at her side. One of them is curved with a form fitting grip and the other straight. She also had a straight flat dagger sown into the lining of her cloak.

Major: Short blade (Alex learned the short blade after leaving pirate’s Landing and during her training with at the Pirate’s Fortress.) Unarmed (Alex picked this up living on the streets of Pirate’s Landing and everyday afterwards, moving from town to town there was always something that wanted to hit her.) Acrobatic (Something taught to her during her training in the Pirate’s Fortress. She had to be able to move with speed and procession since the Gerudo art is not based on pure strength but agility.) Sneak (On the rare occasion the cruel woman who raised Alex took her on jobs she would beat her severely if Alex made even the hint of a noise.) Thievery (She grew up in Pirate’s Landing, nuff said.) Minor: Athletic (Though Alex needed to learn the endurance to do whatever she had to stay alive, she might not have turned out a marathon runner. When she truely needs it, her stamina comes through for her.) Medical Knowledge (It was very very often that Alex or Ali would be beaten, or stabbed during a robbery or perhaps just one the street and so they both learned how to stitch wound and which herbs staved off infection.) Long Blade “Scimitar” (Alex learned how to use this great weapon during her training in the pirate’s Fortress. She never exactly mastered it and while she can use it with some skill, wears it mostly to intimidate opponents and contacts.)

Alex doesn't carry much on her at any one time, only what she absolutely needs: Alex has a sling over shoulder bag that she stole from the post office, its bright red color faded to a dull brown long ago but the symbol of the post master can still be seen if looking closely enough. She carries this bag constantly and it contains all her worldly possessions. - Alex has her weapons on her at all time – See “Weapons” - Commonly she’ll have a bit of cash if “business” is good. – See “Wallet” - Alex has one of the most common tools of the thief’s trade, a set of lock picks that she uses with extreme skill. – Kept in a hidden pocket sown into the strap of the bag. - A wanted poster that Ali tore down from Marshfall, it's almost exact as Alex was seven years earlier. – She keeps it in the same pocket as her lock picks so that if she's searched it won't be found. - Alex has a set of traditional Gerudo clothing including the brilliantly colored purple bandannas reserved for thieves working outside the fortress. These were given to her during training. She uses them for her heists given there light weight. – Bottom of the main pocket to avoid being seen though not strictly hidden. - A flint and striking rock for the cold nights in the mountains or swamps. – Side Pocket - Alex carries a thin tightly packed bedroll. – Main pocket concealing her Gerudo wear. - A canteen of water. – This hangs from the side so as to always be available. - A length of rope. – This is wrapped around her bedroll most of the time though can be used for scaling walls. Has a small grappling hook that can be tied to the rope when needed. - Alex carries a clear glass bottle that she once used to capture a fairy. Since the fairy is not needed in combat Alex has taken to talking to it during her many sleepless nights because she has no other company. The fairy's name is Iris. – Bottle is wrapped up in the bedroll to avoid being broken. - She carries a small cooking pot designed to hang over a fire, it has with it a metal bowl and spoon. – Alex keeps it all in a side pocket so they don’t get in the way. - Alex has a whetstone and oil for sharpening her daggers and her scimitar. - A lantern that Alex only uses when visiting the swamp. The lantern and an extra bottle of oil are nestled into two opposing side pockets that only just have room. Alex’s most treasured possession is a gold necklace that always hangs around her neck. It was the first thing that Alex stole and she was so proud of it that she gave it to Ali for her birthday. It is a gold oval shaped necklace with a light blue stone set in the center. She gave it to Ali and now it is all she has left of her sister. Two years after her sister death Alex had it engraved with her sister's last words.

Alex and her twin sister were abandoned to Pirate’s Landing when they were two years old. Perhaps by the order of the Pirate Queen or just a pirate that was scared of what would happen to her position if it was known she was with child. No one in Pirate’s Landing was kind. Alex was kept around by a disgraced thief who used her in a starving mother/child bit to con people out of their money. Ali however was left out in the cold. Alex brought her food or money whenever she could escape the woman’s gaze and she always paid dearly for it with beatings. No one questioned that Alex was related to the woman that called her daughter, or perhaps no one cared. In private the woman that Alex started to think of as the Task Master was cruel and vindictive, finding fault with all Alex did and punishing her harshly for it. Alex learned from a very young age that you could trust no one and any weakness another had was to be exploited. The only person Alex knew she could hand a dagger to and not fear that it would end up in her chest was her sister. Ali’s life was no better; though she may not have endured the pain that her sister did she certainly understood it. When she was six years old Alex stole an ornate curved dagger set with an emerald, the Taskmaster’s wallet and some blankets and took Ali and together they ran for their lives. The Taskmaster was well known in Pirate’s Landing and while not liked she was respected, or at least feared. Alex knew that they couldn’t stay in the Landing any more she had to go somewhere far away. On the eve of her seventh birthday Alex and Ali crawled under the fence that separated Great Bay from Termina field. When she got there Alex ground up some herbs she found in the grass, mixed them with water and used the paste to dye her hair a dark brown and another mixture that bleached Ali’s hair a brilliant blonde. They traveled from then on fearing the Taskmaster may come after them. In her early life Alex had been granted the small mercy of being taught Gerudo form fighting with the dagger and her fists. Ali had not been lucky enough to learn from the Taskmaster but Alex taught her what she could. Alex and Ali used this to defend themselves from the beasts of Termina Field and from the violent men in the towns they visited. The twins had been to various places in Termina always avoiding Ikana for its reputation and the Great Bay area for fear of being recognized. They both loved the mountain village in the north, the only area where they could close their eyes and sleep without fear of not waking again. They never stayed in the mountains too long. Alex feared that there past may eventually catch up to them and so they kept on the move, pickpocketing and thieving their way through town after town. Luckily Alex had only been caught twice and had narrowly avoided the gallows always keeping her twin out of it. Her wanted post still hangs in the higher class neighborhoods of Clock Town and the Swamp town of Marshfall. At the age of fourteen Alex and Ali were staying in the slums of Clock Town known as Dusk Row trying to avoid recognition. While Ali was fetching some water for there meal a man tried to have his way with Alex before slitting her throat for her wallet. No guards patrolled Dusk Row at night and no one cared what happened to two runaway. Ali returned and pulled the blade from Alex’s throat just in time to save her life. Alex still bears a scar from the attack. The man turned and pushed his dagger into Ali’s stomach. The Clock Town bell rang in that moment and the man scared ran off leaving his knife in Alex’s twin. Alex with her cloths ripped and tears streaming down her face crawled to her sister and held the girl in her hands. Her twin only said four words before her eyes closed and she fell into the eternal slumber. “Live your life sis.” Alex carried Ali’s body from Clock Town. She found a place in the field where the sea breeze blew and she could see the Great Sea. Ali had always loved that place. Alex washed the dye from her sister’s hair and the blood from her chest and buried her with respect and dignity. She carved two words into the head stone, “Never Forget.” One thing was clear in Alex’s mind, she needed more training. She needed to return home. Alex found a pool in Termina Field and washed the brown dye from it letting her fiery locks blow in the wind for the first time in years. Then she walked proudly back to the Great Sea and knocked on the great doors of the Pirate’s Fortress. Though she had no history with them Alex was one of their numbers and as a courtesy was granted an audience with the Queen of the Pirates, Aveil. Politely Alex explained to Aveil that she was a Gerudo outcast that had grown up in Pirate’s Landing. Then she told Aveil what had happened with the man in Clock Town putting less emphasis on the fact that he had killed her twin and more on the fact that she herself had almost died. She asked Aveil to be trained in the Gerudo ways that she was denied when she was a child. Aveil after some deliberation granted Alex her request. Her training took four years to complete. She was worked hard at all hours of the night but Alex always kept at the forfront of her mind that she would never again be as vulnerable as she was that day and she would have her vengeance. Alex learned many things but the ones that she most valued was the skill it took to flip from one point to another soundlessly, to fight with the weapon of Thieves, the scimitar and to take something from someone’s pocket without their notice. Alex became a true thief and then she set out on her revenge. After six months of searching Alex finally found him, he was in a house, possibly robbing it. She didn’t know. Alex swung in through the window her dagger drawn. “Remember me,” she said with venom and rage in her voice. The man looked at her with fear clearly knowing who she was. “This… this for my sister, the one that you left dead in the slums like a dog.” Alex stabbed the man in the chest with his dagger. The one he’d left so many years before. “Arthur, is someone in there with you? Come help me put Christina to bed.” The horrible truth crashed down on Alex in that moment and she felt sick to her stomach. The man had built a life since his crimes. Maybe he was repentant. Maybe he wished he could take it back like she did now and she hadn’t even given him the chance to speak. The woman pushed the door open and saw her husband in a pool of blood with Alex standing over him. Alex looked at the woman in fear and she looked back with the same expression. “I’m sorry.” Alex said desperately before running to the window and climbing down into the alley like a cat. Alex now travels all over Termina taking what jobs she can get because there is a price on her head for the murder of a family man and Clock Soldier. The man had changed so much in four years, just like Alex. She hadn’t given him a chance. She just pushed the dagger in. The memory still makes Alex sick. She comes back to Clock Town every year for the carnival for the Carnival of Time to see the festivities and make a little money slitting coin pouches. Alex’s life is by no means comfy but she makes the best of it without complaint, after all what has she ever done to deserve better.

57 Rupees all stolen. She keeps the currency in a pocket of her cloak that is stitched to the back where no one can easily reach when passing her on the street.
