The fox ducked his head slightly as he accepted the little affection. When Eldarin took the leaf, he noticed something interesting about it... a white signature written in a language he couldn't understand adorned the leaf. It clicked in his head immediately what it was. This was a favour. Favours were powerful little items created by many across the land. They acted as something of a summoning item to call upon a memory form of a person inscribed into the item. With a favour, one could summon beings from beyond the grave or from an older time. They were still a mysterious form of magic and would only become available for use at their own leisure, but obtaining one was a useful thing indeed. The fox bowed to him slightly before it turned and darted back into the woods from whence it came. As it left, Eldarin caught the faintest sound of a chorus of cries of the other foxes, mourning the loss of their bretheren. Ahead of him, the double doors swung outward, revealing a large foyer beyond. The floors were marbel in a repeating square pattern, large square pillars adorning the corners with a single tunnel leading deeper into the bowels of the building. There were two statues of knights on either side of the chamber as well. The thick aroma of dust hung over the place and it was barely lit, save for a few small torches on both walls.
