"How about I just use my hand as a gun, like you? I don't even know how to shoot a real gun anyway," Rae demonstrated by lifting her hand, collecting shadows into a concentrated ball and then shooting the ball out to have it crash into an enemy. Instead of just knocking the enemy down, the ball went [i]through[/i] the creature, leaving a gaping hole behind. The creature fell to the ground, lifeless. "Oh shit. Well that works."

Rae then created a large platform, concentrating hard on it. When she moved her hand away, the platform remained. "Yes!" Rae then made another ball of shadow and blasted it out. All the while the platform remained floating. To test its strength, Rae climbed upon it, lightly thinking [i]move towards the rift[/i]. It did exactly as she wanted, and Rae grinned. "Climb on! We'll ride towards the rift and shoot as we go!" she motioned for Jim to join her atop the floating shadows.
