It would probably an compliment to say that bane simply looked worn when the town came into view, he were exhausted after putting a very long distance behind him for a very long time. When he passed over the last hill his hooves hardly carried him any longer, he probably used up his strength long ago but continued on sheer willpower, and now even that had started to fade. He was quite sure he saw double when he fell to the ground just outside town, so close... almost at the finish he couldn't take it any more. "water... ugh..." he groaned panting softly as he laid his head aside, perhaps... if he just rested for a few minutes he would be okay?... however unlikely it was that he would move again for a while he needed to drink and that soon.
