About the reproduction, you are right that I was basing it off primates. It was an assumption based off the fact that they live in communal groups, while bears are more solitary if I remember correctly. Of course they don't have to have both or neither. It's just that when making anthropomorphic animals, there is little knowing exactly how much is inherited from humanity. Thank you for making that clear.

I may have just been a little quick off the line making some of the judgements, and for that, I'm sorry if I seemed reactive.

Oh yeah, and as for the thematic tying together planning stuff, that's not at all something that is required. It's just that I saw all this language about them being generally better than every other race with the only impactful drawback being birthrate and population. Now, that's not exactly true on a second pass but asking for plans was just me searching for themes that made sense for it all.

If you have any qualms with certain aspects, let me know and we can make them more balanced. I'm certain that they are quite unbalanced but I'm just unable to see it. They are the group's now, so we should tweak them to make them more appropriate. Just give me a list of things that could be tweaked and I'll edit in my spare time.
If we want to tweak the speed, here's a list of bear species speeds for comparison:
American Black bear: 48 km/h
Asiatic Black Bear: 40 km/h
Brown Bear: 48 km/h
Polar Bear: 40 km/h
Grizzly Bear: 56 km/h
Spectacled Bear: 48 km/h
Giant Panda Bear: 32 km/h
Sloth Bear: not sure 'faster than a human' was all I got, so presumably 28 km/h and above
Sun Bear: 48 km/h
Giant Short-Faced Bear: 50-70 km/h
