Alice turned at the sound of his voice, yanking on the cord of her headphones to pull them out of her ears. “Oh, hey,” she smiled, digging into her pocket to turn the music off on her phone. “No problem. Would you believe me if I told you I never get bored?” she grinned, gesturing for him to lead the way to the car. “I just think it’s a silly concept. There are a thousand things to watch, especially when you’re around people. Have you ever gone to the mall and just people watched? It’s incredibly entertaining, I promise you that,” she went on, walking right at by his side. “Then, even if there isn’t anyone around there are a hundred things to think about. Like what I want to paint next, or what if a dragon lived in that forest,” she said, pointing into the distance with a grin, finally looking at him. “You think I’m crazy, don’t you?” she giggled, putting her head down as if embarrassed, though she really could care less what he thought of her. “Whatever. Which car is yours? It better not smell like stinky boys.”
