Par took a Mana Grenade from his belt, before biting off the pin and [i]rolling[/i] it on the ground towards the formation of CMAS Magi and Riflemen. If he were lucky, the other divers, and their attempts to defend the support column, would ensure that the grenade was unnoticed until it reached the tightly packed group of enemies, and then explode, taking out at least three to five people (closely packed formation, remember?) and blowing a hole in their line.

But if that didn't work, he would try throwing another grenade the proper way the moment the other divers seemed to rally and offer another distraction. And if that in turn didn't work, he would keep rolling and throwing grenades until the CMAS force killed him or he succeeded.
