Okay guys, the opener is moments away from being posted, thanks to the wonderfully talented [@Cenco] who has been carrying my sleepy ass through most of this opener. 

I'm here to give you guys some context for your posts. To get to the island, your character will first have to travel to Kyoto (they will be flown in first class on the school's tab if they are too far away for ground travel) and brought to a private ferry. This ferry is clearly new and no expense was spared - the furnishings are great and there is a strict monitoring of identification. They'll have their ID and mode of invitation (likely a red card with their invitation written in gold ink), and even have their fingerprints scanned. After a few hours on the ferry, they'll reach the school. They'll be sent to the reception/lobby building and given their class schedule and dorm numbers. Their dorms contain all of their textbooks, properly sized uniforms and some slightly-too-specific personalizations (think bedspread, wall paint, etc.)

The dorms are kind of like hogwarts dorms. There are suites of two or three people, all branching off of a main common area. Some of you may have arrived a few days prior, and some may just be arriving now. That should be all the advance info you need!
