Long ago the world was covered in darkness, Evil spirits, demons, and Ogres ruled the land inflicting suffering on humans and animals a like, Until a single light cut throw the darkness the light brought with it 13 Animals, A wolf, A cat, A Bird, A rabbit, An Ox, A sheep, A mouse, A snake, A tiger, A boar, A Dragon, A Monkey, and finally A horse Each of these creature were pure white expect for strange red markings on the fur, feathers, and scales The humans and animals that saw the dubbed them the The Divine Beasts for they fought against the evil tormenting man and beast and the small light that brought grew ever stronger......


This story is thought to be just a myth in these modern times however with so much grief and hate fulling the air it almost feels as if the days of darkness in the past have come back, perhaps we once again need those 13 divine beasts the restore the light to our world.

This is loosely inspired by a bit of the eastern Zodiac and the Game Okami,  The main jest of it is the divine beast fighting off spirits and evil away from the eyes of innocent humans, and the lives the beasts have to live because of their divine nature.


If anyone is interested pm, just checking to see if this sparks anyone interest other then myself and yes the beast will have a human like form.

[b]Beast's Natures[/b]
Dragon: leadership, strength tempered with great wisdom
Mouse: Trickster, cunning tempered by humor and friendship
Dog: Loyalty,  Duty before self, however if betrayed not easy to win back
Cat: Pride,  but willing to do what no one else is 
Tiger: Primal, wild but tempered with a since of pride 
Rabbit: Love, compassionate and loyal, but naive at times
OX: Strength,  Stubborn and strong but sometimes easily tricked.
Boar: Perseverance,  willing to fight to the last, however unwilling to give up even if it means death.
Bird: Freedom,  free with emotions, and action, but sometimes easily blow along by winds of change.
Snake: Change,  Always moving, always switching, never stuck in one mindset
Sheep: Conformist, Always moving with the crowd even if not wise.
Monkey: Playful, Unwilling to let others feel sad, however unwilling to admit it's own sadness
Horse: Grace,  Never a miss step nor hair out of place
Wolf: Independence and Royalty said to source of the holy light
