1.Here's an example from a roleplay I did a few weeks ago on another forum. Here, this is a mercenary pilot, but she works for Osea. Thus, her affiliation is loosely with Osea, and her allegiance is currently with Osea (since she's not an exchange soldier or something like that), but she is still from Wellow. Allegiance is more to the country, affiliation to the military itself.

2.Yes, the RP starts in early 2021, only a few months after the end of the Leasath-Aurelia War in December 2020.
