Finally resting for a couple of hours, Ella awoke to the frustrated glare of Marken's governess as she looked down at the two. Rolling her eyes, Ella ignored the woman's harsh gaze and buried her face back into Marken's chest, sighing contently. Letting out a rather feral huff, the woman stalked back out of the bedroom for the time being. It seemed like Ella had finally warded her off. Ella laughed lightly and leaned up, rubbing her eyes. "Marken, we should probably get up," Ella quietly told her fiancé, "Your caregiver doesn't seem to be very happy to have found us like this. It's only a matter of time before she comes back with a squad of nuns to purify us." Leaning over Marken again, Ella kissed his cheek, happy that he was still alive. She wanted so badly to wake up next to Marken for the rest of her life now, but how could she make that work? She'd only choked up last night, and there was no way she could allow herself to do that again.
