Yea, eevee's are pretty cool. I'm not overly obsessed or anythi- *closet door falls open, out tumbles a plushie version of every eeveelution, multiple shirts with the eeveelutions on them, an old phone charm of glaceon that has been taped together, and a larger version of a sylveon plushie* NOTHING TO SEE HERE!

Jokes aside, I would be okay with the same limitations on my powers that I have in the normal universe,  but I do think I favor the idea of us both just having a strong bond with Pokémon relating to our type. Since it is basically close to a trainer and their Pokémon, and since that is the universe we are in it makes more sense.
