I would get up in arms about those RWBY comments, but there's a funny story behind that. Initially I did dislike RWBY. I had to power through the first season, hoping it would live up to the trailers. By the end of the season it still hadn't, so I dropped it. Then about a month or two ago a friend of mine convinced me to give it another chance and had me watch seasons 2 & 3, saying "it gets fucking awesome" and stuff. And it did. It totally did. The animation improved, the voice acting improved, the writing and humor improved, and the fighting remained amazing. Now I'm hype as fuck for Volume 4 after the last season finale. Also my problem usually isn't with CG specifically (though it irks me when the characters aren't modeled well like in the Sidonia anime), it's with blending it with traditional animation. It's so incongruous and it usually ends up looking like arse. EDIT: Oh yeah and the reason I'm here is because the premise tickles me in all the right places. The anime's execution, or at least the few episodes I saw, just failed to do it justice.
