What a lovely day to mire with such petty squabbles. Alas, it must be done or the whole clan would tear itself to pieces. Today's squabbles featured an ill-tempered couple of weak wills. Domagoj sat and listened quietly as the various councilmen voiced their opinions about the couple, and how they ought to be punished. He personally wouldn't mind seeing them both offed for being blight on the clan by being unable to sort this issue out between themselves, in his mind they were a sore, or a boil, that should be lanced, cleaned, and then sealed with a searing flame, lest infection set in and cause even more damage to the rest of the body. But, as per usual, the rest of the council seemed to think the louts could still be of some use to the clan and set their plans for the exploitation of the unhappy couple forth. Of all the noise makers the chief seemed to have the most efficient method of dealing with the couple, it even allowed the pair to be re-integrated into the clan should they prove capable of learning their respective lessons. Domagoj doubted the two could, why else would they burden the council with such a trivial matter? Still, the council expected him to say something, so Domagoj said his piece in as few words as possible. "I support Chief Serhiem in this matter."
As the clan enters the Rain season, I spend much of my time mixing gathered reagents into a nutritious fertilizer for our crops. I use three bags of dung from the herds, two bags of moldy fodder from years past, four bags of compost, from my personally tended heap, and few drops of an elixir of growth to make each barrel of fertilizer. Unfortunately, I have neither time nor resources to make enough for the entire village yet, and until I'm confident I have the right mixture I don't want to entrust it's making to less dedicated souls. Of course this means I get to charge for the goods produced, though I'm careful to ask for only a little silver, and a portion of the crop's creme for my troubles. I reserve my point this week.
