Before she could even think of leaving, a flaming dog (she guessed it was a Growlithe or an Arcanine) appeared, and spat fire at Walnut. She called to Walnut, knowing the type advantage the wild Pokemon had, "Walnut, watch out!" She pulled out her Pokeball, ready to call out Squirtle and ignore the doubts that clawed at her mind once again. Did Squirtle know water gun already? Or did both of their Pokemon just know basic attacks.
