Shiranui put the Wally incident behind him when it was his turn to take Wattson on.  Wattson opened with Voltorb and Shiranui sent Gimansha out.  "Voltorb, Charge!"
"Gimansha, Play Rough!  Mega Ring activate!"  Shiranui activated the keystone on his Mega Ring and Gimansha was enveloped in an orb of energy.  The orb shattered to reveal a Mega Mawile.  Voltorb charged itself up, raising its Special Defence stat before Gimansha grabbed the ball and played roughly with it, hitting Voltorb into the air with her jaws.  Gimansha spiked Voltorb over to where Wattson stood and the ball was knocked out in one hit.
[hr]Wattson switched Voltorb for Magnemite and Shiranui tried to switch Gimansha out, but the recall beam fizzled out as soon as the Mega Mawile was enveloped.  "Magmemite has the Magnet Pull ability and since your Mawile is a Steel-type, you can't switch it out," stated Wattson, "Magnemite, Thunder Wave!"
"Gimansha, Fire Fang!"  Both of Gimansha's steel jaws ignited as the Mega Mawile charged at Magnemite.  Both the jaws clamped down and Magnemite couldn't stand the heat, falling to the ground knocked out.
[hr]Wattson switched Magnemite for Manectric and Shiranui switched Gimansha for Niwatori.  "Manectric, Thunder Wave!"
"Niwatori, Toxic!"  Manectric unleashed a pale blue bolt of electricity from its mane and zapped Niwatori into paralysis.  Niwatori threw a gob of poisonous slime at Manectric that left the electrical canine badly poisoned.
"Manectric, Spark!"
"Niwatori, Sunny Day!"  Manectric charged at Niwatori at a speed too fast to follow and tackled the Combusken.  Niwatori felt the electric charge from the move and managed to light up the battlefield.
"Manectric, Leer!"
"Niwatori, Flame Charge!"  Manectric glared at Niwatori and the Combusken felt his Defence stat fall.  In spite of the paralysis, Niwatori charged at Manectric, his feathers bursting into white hot flames.  Manectric was hit and combined with the poison, the damage was enough to knock Manectric out.
[hr]Wattson switched Manectric for Magneton and Shiranui kept Niwatori out.  "Magneton, Supersonic!"
"Niwatori, Flame Charge!"  Magneton let loose with a high-pitched screech that didn't affect Niwatori.  The Combusken charged at Magneton with flaming feathers and sacked it into a one-hit knockout.  Shiranui won the Dynamo Badge.
