The bell rang. For the students of most high schools, this would mean going home or to clubs(or to their dorms for boarding schools). For the students of Ishikawa Academy, this was-... okay it's actually not that different in this case. It was time for them to get studying done, spend some time with friends, do work for classes, attend club meetings, it was fairly average for a decidedly not average school. Well, except that some of the clubs were for things like broom-riding or the Shikigami Appreciation Club. But beyond that, students were doing what you could really expect students to do after class, after cleaning up at least. One such student clutched her books to her chest, as she rose from her seat and headed out the door. After all, she had a lot of studying to do, so it was best for her to get to doing it as quickly as possible. She had a little time before she had to do anything else, after all. The diminutive, dark-haired girl headed down the hallway. She was short, quite short, and sported a rather unusual(at least for anyone unfamiliar with the student body of Ishikawa Academy) set of features. Cat ears and a cat tail, twitching a little as she walked, weren't exactly what you'd expect to see on a high school girl. Moreso because she was not actually some kind of cat-person by birth. Hayakawa Tsukimi glared, blushing faintly from her nerves, as she had to make her way through the crowds of students leaving their classes. She didn't like crowds, and part of her wished she had just waited for the other students to filter out entirely before attempting to do anything else. But that probably would have wasted a lot of time that could be spent studying before she had anything else on her plate... Still, people had even bumped into her a couple times... she didn't like random people touching her at the best of times, and coupled with her dislike of crowds... Tsukimi wasn't in a good mood right now. Her mood especially soured when she tripped, caught herself... and fell over onto her rear end anyway, dropping her books all over the floor. It was going to be one of those days, wasn't it? Unfortunately, Tsukimi didn't know the half of it.
Class had ended for the day, and for the blonde-haired girl who looked far too young to be teaching anything, that meant that she had some free time. Indeed, Ishikawa's history teacher appeared to be a child no older then ten years old. Looks could be prodigiously deceiving, however, as she was actually a thousand years in age. Rose Vermilion, Ishikawa's vampiric teacher with a(somewhat cultivated) reputation of being terrifying, was off to take some free time before she had to do anything particularly serious. A break between teaching classes and dealing with the rest of the work she had to do as someone who taught a large number of high school students the history of the supernatural in the world. It wasn't exactly an easy job, but when you could provide first-hand accounts of a chunk of it things did get a bit smoother and definitely more interesting. However, the diminutive teacher was quick to take a break regardless. She didn't exactly account for anything unusual happening that day.
