It would but i know Wraith wouldnt kill off Mithias this late in the Blood Compact storyline. chances are, he knew about the MI6 agent sent to keep an eye on him so faked his death, thus in the news and reports would show him as dead. But SOLDIER obviously know so they wont mourn him properly
