Drake’s mind weighed a bit heavy waiting on the answer. People he cared about were still out in their world, but a huge wave of relief came over him when she said there was no actual fighting yet, just tension. That lifted a huge weight off of his shoulders, and at least now he had something to tell the other dragons. With their leader MIA for now, Drake was in charge, especially since Elsa had left too. He didn’t fully like it especially since he had to keep such a close eye on Sal. The Arch mage had popped his head in, and Drake felt himself zone out for a moment before Kane addressed them again and the look on her face said a lot and he nodded. “Of course, Professor. Nothing will happen to him on my watch.” Salazar looked in the direction of Kane’s aura again and gave a smile. “Nothing does. Again thank you. I do have one more question, and it might be odd, but I have to ask.” Drake looked to Sal and saw his face turn a little downward. “When we go into the lessons on seers, may I be excused from the class that day? I know it seems silly, but I know what others think about seers, and I don’t like that negativity.” Drake’s brow furrowed a little and he rubbed Sal’s back. “Hey, don’t think too much on it, bro. A lot of people think a lot of things about other races.” He assured him, helping him stand once Kane gave her answer. “Thank you, again, Professor.” He took the book out of Sal’s bag and placed the paperback one in it as they headed out of her office. All he could hear on the way to the cafeteria was about Logan Smith beating the holy hell out Devin Lively. A small smirk twitched up on Drake’s face at the thought of it, but it quickly faded as they got into the cafeteria where Cole and Clary were waiting for them. He smiled a bit, seeing Cole patiently helping Clary with another of their assignments. When they got to the table he smiled more, “Clary, dude, calm down. Take it down a notch. You had the right answer the whole time, you’re just overthinking it.” “Sorry.” Clary’s voice came, and Drake raised a brow as he and Sal sat down. “I do that when I’m worried. And there is a lot to worry about right now!” she said. The cafeteria right now was pretty empty, and Drake looked around. “Why so much worry?” he asked, and Clary looked up at him. “Logan is like a big brother to me, and I heard about what happened. And I haven’t seen Billie since class and I’m worried about her too. She might act like she’s made of stone, but stuff is getting to her too.” She said, and Sal reached over and patted Clary’s hand after the third try and she looked at him. He gave her a soft smiled. “They’ll be okay, Clary. Don’t worry so much, it makes your aura start fading, and yours is very bright, so I don’t like seeing it fade.” Clary gave a soft smile and nodded. “I guess you’re right. Thanks.” Drake chuckled a bit and shook his head. “You can’t ever disagree with him.” He teased and he opened up his ALD book, “So are we ready to start on this?” -- Alex sighed a bit when they got out of the classroom. As much as he hated not being able to kick Devin’s ass himself, Logan did him some justice. He was glad for that, but at the same time he wondered how Logan was taking what he had done. Even on bad days, Logan never got like that and it was a little bit concerning to Alex. His mind cleared though as he and Jordyn walked down the hall and she had explained to him what had happened. It actually made sense to him now, but then again his knowledge of fae dealings was extremely limited. Billie had been the one that studied other races their entire life, to see if she could gauge responses and see what races she’d absolutely have to stay away from. Alex on the other hand went with experience over studying. He looked down to her, noticing they were close to his dorm. “Don’t worry too much on it. I’m here to help you too, and if things get too bad, I can always talk to my sister. I may have stepped down and let her take the reins completely, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t listen to me.” He said, giving her hand a gentle squeeze before they stopped in front of his door. Her question made him smile and he nodded. “Yeah, I’ll be up there after a while. I need to check on the pups and take care of a few things myself. But I wouldn’t mind chicken salad and some strawberries.” When she went to walk away, he went to open his door when she took his hand and spoke again. His features softened slightly, and he placed a kiss to her forehead. “Jo, I wouldn’t believe anything that leech said anyway. Plus, in my opinion, you never came off like that anyway. And by the way, I really like having you as a girlfriend, and I do apologize that you got hurt earlier. You shouldn’t have had to go through that.” He tugged her into a hug, and once he let her go, he made sure she made it down the hall okay before entering his dorm room, Billie entering right behind him looking… Well, not normal. “Something wrong, sis?” he asked, watching as she rummaged through her clothes. “No. I’m just about to go do something I’m probably going to really regret later.” She admitted and he gave her a look. “Not going into details, but Justin is kind of waiting for me right now.” Alex groaned. “Really, Justin?” he asked. Billie gave him a look. “I can’t help that my demon half has been extremely dominant today, Al. You know what violence does to me anyway.” She said and he shuddered a bit. “You going to check on Lo later?” he asked and she nodded. “I asked him to meet up with me, but before I head out there, I figure I’d at least drop off a couple of his shirts to Clary so they’re not weighing me down.” She said, and Alex shook his head and she asked. “So, do you have plans tonight?” Alex nodded. “I’m going to go hang out with Jordyn in a little bit. I figured I’d check on the pups, and ask you if Blaze could stay with them.” Billie sighed, “Al, your birthday is next week, and I had planned on waiting until then, but…” she cut herself off and summoned Blaze and he gave her an odd look. “Blaze, are you ready?” she asked, petting her head and the hound gave a gentle nod. “Go then.” Alex gave her a look as Blaze went and sat before him. “What are you doing Billie?” he asked. “Blaze is yours, Al. She always has been even if she’s been mine, I figure I’d finally make it official.” She answered and he turned and hugged her before he thought about it. He laughed a little when she pushed him away and after she explained the summoning to him, he saw her go into the bathroom, change, and then leave. He looked down to Blaze as he changed and after they took care of the pups he motioned for her to follow him as he began heading towards Jordyn’s room. -- Billie had a feeling, as she approached Justin that she would regret this, but she pulled on his shoulder and when her eyes met his green ones he gave her a look. “What’s up, Billie? Randa not available?” he asked her, and she gave him a look before he laughed a little. “Lighten up, B. You’re uptight right now.” She nodded and spoke. “You wanna help me with that?” she asked and he gave her a look. In the four years the two had known each other, Billie was constantly turning him down and rejecting him, not even giving him a dance at any of the dances. “You’re being serious?” he asked, and she nodded. “If I wasn’t, would I ask?” she quipped, and he nodded. “Alright, I’ll be waiting. You know where my dorm is. Come by when you’re ready, I’ll shoo my roommate for a while.” He said, and she watched as he practically ran off and she got a sick feeling in the pit of her stomach. Why in the fuck did it have to be Logan? And why the fuck did he have to look so fucking hot when he kicked Devin’s ass? With a sigh, Billie turned on her heels and headed towards her dorm, spending a little time with Alex before she changed and headed down to Justin’s dorm. She knocked on the door, her hair down completely, and she wore a rather tight pair of jeans and a loose fitting blouse. When Justin opened the door and she walked in, something felt wrong about the whole thing, but she needed to let out some aggression, and why not give him a shot. Who knew? Maybe he’d actually be worth a damn. -- Darren got to his room with no trouble at all, the halls were almost completely empty with that fight having erupted so, he took the chance to take a shower and at least get started on his assignment. Tomorrow he’d have little to no free time after getting a detention from Harlow in second period for completely mouthing off to him. Then again, he also hadn’t realized until today that Harlow was a hell knight, and that he probably shouldn’t be messing with him anyway. However, he did notice a bit of brunette hair heading into a room down the hall where someone he absolutely hated used to stay. And of course, it just had to be her. He groaned a bit, heading into his dorm completely before taking a shower and heading out into his room with his thoughts. He shook his head a bit, throwing on a t-shirt and a pair of jeans before he sat at his desk and started on the coexistence assignment. He was about halfway through lazily doing it when a knock came to his door. He looked at the clock and smirked. Though he hadn’t exactly been expecting anyone, he had a feeling he knew who it was, and he opened the door and gave a smirk. “Well, hello there gorgeous, you know me all too well.” He said before moving from the doorway and letting her inside before he shut the door behind him. “Sorry I missed you last night, but I didn’t get back until this morning, had a pretty interesting break.” He said, pulling out a chair for her before he sat down and closed his book. “Before I even begin asking about how you’ve been, I figured I’d let you know now because I just saw her coming in. Dragon bitch is back.” He rolled his eyes a little, his hand absent-mindedly going to his left shoulder where he bore a deep almost burnt looking scar. That bitch spit acid at him and caught his shoulder. Luckily they caught it fast enough for him to not have a larger scar, but it still pissed him off. He also knew she and Jackie had a standing bit of dislike towards each other too. “Anyway, how’ve you been? Looks like you’ve had a rough day.” He said, opening his bottom drawer and waving a couple vials of blood to her as an offer. Very few people in the school had pure human blood, and Darren didn’t use his, so he, for the most part, gave it Jackie when he saw her. A bit of a thank you for not siding with that demon bitch that ran his group now. -- Billie left Justin’s room a while later feeling extremely dirty. She shuddered at the sheer thought of what she had just done, but she stopped in the cafeteria before heading back to her dorm. She grabbed a couple of sandwiches and some chips, and when she finally got back to her dorm, she was glad to see Alex was long gone. She showered in water as hot as she could get it, and she closed her eyes a bit, resting her head against the wall. He was not at all worth her time, at least she knew that now, but at least most of her aggression was let out now. She sighed a bit, getting out of the shower and looking up at the clock. “Fuck.” She hissed, seeing it was ten til seven. She shook her head a bit and pulled on a different pair of jeans and t-shirt before she began throwing stuff in her tote bag. Bottle of scotch, her whiskey, the food she had bought, a hoody, and she smirked for a minute and pulled a few of Logan’s shirts out of the closet before she tucked them in there and headed out the door. She stopped by Clary’s room, and she knocked before turning the knob. It was locked? That was odd, Clary always had the thing unlocked. Billie made a motion with her hand and heard the door unlock before she opened it and when she walked in, she saw Logan sitting there. She looked at her own watch before she shook her head and smirked. “I so know you were not planning on blowing me off.” She teased before she shut the door and took a seat on his bed. “Because you know, that doesn’t happen with me. Nope. Sorry, you can’t blow me off Lo."
