[@Natty] Myself I'm okay with there being more than one library. I'd talk to Gowi to see what he says though. Although it is possible that Morgana Le Fey could have broken into one and stole it. Forcing Merlin to make another while he tried to kick her out. However that's Gowi's territory and he has the final decision there. 

Still give the Librarians a watch. You don't really need to watch the former movies but it'll give you more insight if you do. I thoroughly recommended it. It's kinda like Indiana Jones meets, Warehouse 13.
