A website called nationstates.net lets you create your own nations according to your political ideals. After filling in the form, answering a short survey, and addressing some national concerns, I came up with the Kingdom of Aretaeus (Areta was taken). And I amused myself with this for awhile. This is the overview of my country, as worded by the website, after addressing some political issues. Before addressing the issue of crime, it read, "Crime is moderate, possibly because it is difficult to make it through a day without breaking one of the country's many regulations." 

The solution to the crime problem was a) more police, b) increase govt. spending to fight poverty and improve education, or c) harsher punishments. Naturally I chose a) more Knights.

Let it be noted that after this issue, the disparity between incomes increased, raising the average income to 62k annually, and the poor average to 8k.[/hider]
