So vampires automatically completely regenerate whatever wounds they've received with time, but wounds left by fire or werewolf claws will heal much slower and will not heal completely, leaving a scar. In that case it seems sensible that i do can change my body and move my heart into another area of my chest, but it will always quickly return back to it's usual place after some time, my body perceiving any change done to it as a "wound" and trying to "regenerate" it, is that correct? Another question just out of morbid curiosity - if a vampire has a limb amputated and has say, a metal sleeve put over the stump in order to prevent it growing back, will the undead flesh somehow tear through metal or will the regeneration actually be stopped until the impediment is removed?
