Tell me what you think, but I imagine Alan being able to catch weapons in his teeth, given a proper prediction. That was my main point with being able to eat dangerous objects without harm. And if someone is fighting me with their fists, well, Alan will likely carry a cleaver around or something to chew on, like the toothpick in his mouth. Plus he can take a chomp out of the floor, wall, door handle, planks, something in a room. I'd actually like to add if he attempts to eat sea stone or anything particularly nasty against devil fruit, he'll get indigestion in addition to a power drain.
