Human history has been tumultuous, to say the least. Constantly, there has been war. Humans realized this, and created an order of men and women, the greatest among them, to serve as peacekeepers. When they died, their sons and daughters became the next generation of the Watchers, as they were called. The Watchers thwarted war and death at every step, led by their old Lord Aemon. Aemon led the Watchers gallantly, but even Watchers weren’t immune to the sands of time. Disease took Lord Aemon and his sons and daughters squabbled over who should succeed him. Their arguments grew more intense as the other Watchers took sides. Eventually, the Watcher Order dissolved, and Aemon’s children founded their own Orders. Yet this division has caused great animosity between the Watchers. They may protect mankind from itself, but who will protect them from themselves?

The Order of The Moon was the first Watcher Order to reform after the death of Aemon. They are known for their fierce, brutal, combat inspired by the now-ancient vikings. They wear little armor and tend to settle diplomatic disputes through intimidation. They Watch over most of Canada and the Eastern U.S., as well as parts of Mexico. They are capitaled in Toronto and have an area of land (about the size of Rhode Island) on the coast of France, serving as their embassy to the Eastern hemisphere.

Krigari
Irene Singley, 37 A short, muscled woman, Irene was the first of Aemon Singley’s children and the fiercest. She has a reputation for being headstrong and confrontational, yet is seen as brave and loyal. She is set to hold the position of Krigari until she is no longer able to fight, at which point, the Order’s strongest warrior will take her place. While the Krigari is the highest position in the clan and their word is law, most decisions are made by the Andras.
Andras
Adrien Dupont, 37 A slender, soft spoken man, Adrien is the exact opposite of Irene. He handles most of the non-combat affairs of the Order and is engaged to Irene. He will maintain his position until Irene leaves office, unless the new Krigari chooses him as their Andras.
Utskott
A high council consisting of the wisest men and women in the Order. They vote on most affairs regarding the general state of affairs in the Order. Any decisions they make can be overturned by the Andras and the Krigari. The Andras can be overruled with a unanimous vote, but the Krigari’s word is law. Utskotti serve for life and there is 16 of them at all times. The Utskotti vote to choose new members when one dies or resigns. Every warrior has a unique axe, some choose two handed battleaxes, others choose small hatchets. The warrior typically engraves symbols and words into the handle.

Some Warriors make their own sigils to fix onto banners and armor.
