There is no rush with posts. However, I've had some trouble adjusting to this format of having several characters. You really have to think in terms of several short posts (for each character) amounting to the traditional wall-o-text of the advanced section. I'm not sure yet if it's easier or harder than the normal one character per player. I'd like to think that it's easier, though.
