EDITED as of December 14'th~! My posting range can go from two paragraphs to ten. I have no qualms with sticking to a mellow two to three paragraphs with someone but they have to be consistent. There’s nothing more infuriating than writing with someone and to have their posts deteriorate into helpless little posts which don’t excite or progress the story. So if we can agree on a range anywhere between two and ten typical posts, that’s fine by me as long as you can stick to it. We all have "off days" but that’s what an active OOC is for, to maintain interest and plotting even when you can’t post in the IC immediately. Or if you're making a short post and want to give your partner a heads up if it's okay or needs more bulk to skip, whatever. I have 1-2 Groups and 2-4 One on Ones going on. It's not a lot but they're all fantastic roleplays of Advanced caliber and they're all awesome people. I do my best to post depending on how long ago my partner has. Meaning if one posted three days ago and you posted a few hours ago, I will try to post to the other person first. Sometimes it doesn't work out as fairly, sometimes the more talkative partner might get a post sooner because we've been able to communicate and plot efficiently. Still, I do my best to make sure everyone is happy and not waiting too long. As far as genders go, I play either one and would prefer to write with someone who is capable of doing the same. If you're really against trying to go out of your comfort zone, we probably won’t get along too well. If you’re out of practice or lack experience, what better way to get better than to actually try? I like to double, doubling makes the plot open up more. In some cases, we won’t need to but in most cases, it’s something I do highly encourage. It should only happen though, if you can balance both roles out equally. I am NOT okay with writers giving two main character unequal development. If we've talked and some characters are minor/side, then that's different but please don't be a lazy selfish writer. My time is limited and I want to use it to tell a great story with great people, not get annoyed or bored over silly things that can be cured with communication. Now finally onto what I enjoy and don’t enjoy. I love fandoms, I do, they are so fun to play around with. And they have settings and characters that both writers know about, while original RPs take more communication to ensure both writers are on the same page. I can go either way but for fandoms, I prefer all canons. Just ask who I’ll play, because this post will get too long if I put everything down. AU plots will always be welcomed, meaning we should feel free to tweak canon events or put the canons into other settings and events. I’m open minded. Crossovers also work too. Some OCs might be allowed but I'm more uneasy about including them so you better have a good way to sell your idea and be prepared to double with two main characters (so we're both an OC and canon). Fandoms I’ll write: Beside them is my interest level, never hurts to ask about a fandom though and if we talk about it, my interest may change for the better. Feel free to post here or send me a PM of sorts so we can talk and ensure we're on the same page as far as expectations go. I am only looking for one or two new roleplays, maybe three if the new ones are less strenuous than what I have going on. I enjoy the ones I have now but I'd love to get something fresh started with people I haven't written with before. I do prefer things to take place vie threads but you can PM me if you wish to talk further but talking in here is fine with me too.
