Isotta was hardly about to fall for the deception that the demon was trying to pull on her at the moment, since the fact that there were three of them there and no pressing signs meant that they didn't all have to heed what was being said. She was definitely alert for possible lies and trickery, and she would not allow herself to be distracted so easily. Of course, Carver was as much a distraction as anything else, the man examining the artwork and trying to psychologically analyze their current target, something she could do without. Motive didn't matter, at least in a case like this. Leave it to someone else who was more qualified, and for now she merely wanted to bring in the demon, just like the Church would want. "I think we have bigger issues," she noted aloud as Dana made a break for it, Carver chastising both her and Sheridan for their willingness to risk collateral damage. It wasn't as if it could make things worse, and she proceeded to take off after the demon, this time actually throwing a sword at her in the process. She would not find it so easy to escape the judgment of the Lord, and Isotta was more than ready to deliver it.
