[indent]Kamila had tough upbringing. Her father left her mother when she was pregnant with Kamila when she was a teenager. Raising a child alone is tough, but when you're growing up yourself- it makes it almost impossible. Kamila's mother tried her best to raise her child but often found herself finding social opportunities more important. That being said, Kam found her own independence having to do everything for herself even at a young age.

Growing up the way she had, made having relationships hard- so when Jackson Carver came around she was avoiding him like the plague. She hadn't had a relationship before, everything was scary and her trust issues were in control of every action. Jack remained strong and true, promising so many things and more importantly following through with them. Eventually they found one another married and within a year- pregnant.

This terrified Kamila, thoughts of her own childhood flooded her mind every day and all she could think about is that Jackson was going to leave her as soon as this baby came. Of course there were no hints leading up this thought, but her stubborn and inflicted past made her feel this way. Despite needing the help often, Kam makes it a point to her husband that she can do everything on her own, just in case he does decide to ditch out at the last minute.

She hopes he can prove her wrong one more time before it's too late.
