Loki had been about to strike when he heard Tony say that. He lowered his staff, was he about to have a change of heart. No he couldn't. Why would he dare try pity some pathetic mortal. 
"Shes dead?" it was the first he had heard of it. Thor hadn't mentioned it. "And you want to die?" He didn't show any pity though. He was trying to force himself not to. He wondered what had happened.
