Walking along the sidewalk, getting stares from some, being asked to take a picture by others, giving a look of disgust with a few, Miles saw that everything was stable for the time being not catching anything with his X-Ray vision feeling that today was going to be easier...

[b]"The HQ is under attack. This is not a drill!"[/b]

Through his commlink, Miles heard the alarm and the summonings being requested to fight off whoever is attacking the base. [color=blue]This always happens when I'm not around...[/color] he said to himself, getting back on the chopper he came to the area with and rushed back to the base to provide support.

after a few minutes, speeding towards the destination, a half mile from the HQ, there were two individuals who were standing in the middle of the road when Miles was welcomed with an orange energy blast that caused him to swerve out the way before wrecking. After two failed shots, there was a swarm of flying insects that impaired Miles vision to as these crawlers were stinging his face, causing him to stop and activate his optic blast, clearing the swarm. 

Two guys walked up [color=fff200]My my....I guess the boss was right about staying on watch for any other heroes...you're the only one my babies saw coming.[/color] The young nerdy, scrawny guy said as another bigger guy with a mohawk casually came over as well [color=8dc73f]At least we won't totally be bored while the others trash that HQ.[/color]

Miles looked at these two guys who obviously planned to take him out and spoke into his commlink [color=blue]Everyone...I'm a half mile from the base...but I may be held up...I have two ass clowns I'll have to own before giving you all assistance.[/color] He said and brought his attention towards the two [color=blue]Who the hell are you and who do you work for?[/color] The first guy and the second look at each other. [color=fff200]Hmm...Donnie...you wanna flip for it?[/color] The big guy looked back [color=8dc73f]No...fuck that....I'm taking him myself Ed...[/color] as the big guy went for the attack first.

[color=blue]Look...I don't wanna hurt you man, but you betting stop.....NOW![/color] having no choice with the man rushing him, Miles shot the Donnie fellow with an optic blast that was enough to knock a normal human out but the man just stood there....and took it. Seemingly unharmed, the man brought his face up with his eyes glowing orange and a smile on his face charging twice the speed he was going, leaping in the air to take Miles down but was once again welcomed with another optic blast much stronger this time around knocking the man back but landing on his feet as the man's body was starting to glow. with a chuckle, [color=8dc73f]Thanks for the charge...heroic dick[/color] answering with a powerful blast from his hands towards Miles, making the hero jump out the way [color=8dc73f]Ed...this shit's gonna be easier than I thought...[/color]

Miles noticed that this guy not only was able to take hit from his blasts but he can seemingly get charged up with the energy and redirect it back to him. before he could get his thoughts together, the man appeared right in front of him in a blink of an eye and kicked Miles about 10 yards away [color=8dc73f]Damn....didn't know you energy blast would give me this much strength.[/color]

Miles looking bewildered noticed that this guy's physical attributes have increased as well. As the man approached again to go for another assault, Miles went invisible to get away from this freak that according to his powers, Miles could make stronger. As He was invisible, Miles was thinking to meet with the group and hopefully find someone who could deal with this guy but...[color=fff200]Donnie....he's over there...he's headed back to the HQ![/color]

Miles looked back and noticed the guy looking dead at him despite being invisible. [color=fff200]My babies sprayed him with pheromones....he can't get away from the scent whether he's invisible or not....swarmlings....get him![/color] several wasp-like insects raced towards Miles along with Donnie to chase and stop him from uniting with the others. [color=blue]shit shit shit!!!![/color]
