Wait... I'm going to be the "Prophet", right? If I make my character a sort of religious leader, couldn't your character be a sort of devoted follower who at some point blurred the lines between my character and their god? XD

My character is going to be a girl BTW. Whether you want to make a hetero boy or a homo girl is up to you XD
