Welcome to the interest check for the City States of Europe! The backstory is detailed in the contest entry the Database, which I will post here in case you have not read it.

Naturally this doesn't provide much, so feel free to ask me questions whether in this thread or in PM. Also, there is a continuity error in the story. The Kessler syndrome happened in 2018, and Nihili was made a few years after that. By the time Nihili receded, he'd have watched a year after the collapse of the Union, so it would be about 2028 when it collapsed.

[h2]Overall Summary[/h2]
This is a relatively freeform RP, where each player is a character in the titular city of Osaka, post-fall of the European Union. Why is there an Osaka in Europe, you might ask? After globalization failed, Europe was wracked with Japanese and Chinese refugees, each with a different story as to what happened. What exactly resulted in this is unclear, but the effects are quite clear; many areas of Europe are built over with refugee cities, rapidly erected, and named after their old home cities.

There is simply one goal in this; There is a shadow war between the various corporations of Osaka for complete control of the city. The alps are a place of chaos, in direct contrast to the areas such as the hardliner fascist city state of Berlin to the principality of London. Nuclear war is inevitable, but in the mean time you must seize power. You will play an important character in a chosen corporation of your creation.
