Quick rundown on what happened outside of the second seal.

Rifts between the human world and both heaven and hell have widened, meaning a slow but increasing surge of demons and angels have come. The city itself is not destroyed, but probably will be as a result of fighting between demons and angels that will ramp up in the coming week.

I must have misinterpreted things, then. I read

and assumed that everything with Souta occurred [i]after[/i] this stuff already happened. The sense of time in the post is kinda... off. It's talking about stuff that had to have happened hours after the Seal was broken, but some parts describe stuff that seems to be happening [i]minutes[/i] after the Seal broke, and I'm not sure at what point in time we're at right now.
