Aye. It's absolutely horrible to always keep a bow strung. From what I remember, bows warp a lot if they're left strung (especially if the bow isn't stored in a completely dry and cool environment), causing them to lose a lot of tension.

However, today, some bows are made extremely well, so it's less of a big deal. The only reason why you'd leave bows strung is if you're shooting it every day.
