I think I'm going with she does have it strung. Mostly because they [i]are[/i] walking into unknown territory and might run into something that would very much like to eat them. Stringing the bow would just take unnecessary and unneeded amount of time. She'd probably unstring it or whatever when they stop for the night, of course, but when they're traveling...yeah. Probably will be ready to shoot something in the face.
