[color=fff79a]"Atch, wait!"[/color] Catarina walked into the room as everyone else did, not letting her guard down for a second. There could be anything here: pikes from the floor, poisoned darts from the walls, the roof collapsing on them, or even just a charm that would turn them all mad. Instead of any of those however, an orb of darkness fell and covered everyone. It was so dark that not even Domina's light could cut through it, so it was certainly a magic spell. Catarina immediately brought her shield up and above her. She knew that something may fall on her, and she was proven correct when she felt something land against her shield spike. Jarvis dispelled the darkness, allowing Catarina to see what was attacking her. She didn't know what the monster was, only that it looked like a squid (Which she has seen and eaten smaller, much more harmless versions of). She swung her shield forcefully, causing it to fly away as if it was going to try to make a second attack. [color=fff79a]"Oh no you don't!"[/color]

Catarina's opponent flew towards Javris, perhaps unwittingly, but Catarina wasn't going to let it slip away no matter what. She charged forward with her sword to her side, and with a mighty swing she cleaved straight through the flying squid in one blow, with the force of her blade so mighty that it was carried through into Jarvis's opponent as well. Immediately Catarina turned to see if there was any other monsters that she needed to slay, or any other members of her party who needed help.
